Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah

Walking or riding along the many trails that we have, the array of colors that pop out can't help but be noticed. It's not only in the trees, flowers, and green grass that flows through the ranch and surrounding areas, but the birds and animals too. Coming out West is like stepping into a Disney animated movie.

The skies are a vibrant color. The birds are a bright blue, as well as many other colors. It's almost expected that a horse can talk. And bursting out into song? Why not?!

Back in 1946 Disney released its first live-action and animation film entitled 'Song of the South' which from that moment on sparked some of the most memorable songs and characters Disney has produced. Br'er Rabbit, Br'er Fox, and Br'er Bear were among those animated characters. While Uncle Remus was among the live-action characters in the film. It was also the inspiration for Disneyland's Splash Mountain.

The song 'Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah' to this day can get stuck in anyone's head. Especially the line "Mister Bluebird on my shoulder" will be sure to get someone humming it. It's this song that's most commonly run through my head when I see the beauty that surrounds us on a daily basis. Don't be surprised if you ever come and visit that you too will be singing or humming along.
